Brian HoraisBrian Horais enjoys wood turning and wood craftsmanship with various hardwoods and interesting shapes. He began his interest in wood turning a few years ago when his father-in-law gave him an old lathe. Since then he has taken classes in basic wood turning and has ventured into segmented wood turning and hollow vase turning. In his work he strives to highlight the beauty of various hardwoods and their unusual grain structures by forming them into useful structures and shapes. He is a member of the East Tennessee Woodworking Guild and the Smoky Mountain Wood Turners Guild. Brian is a resident of Halls Crossroads in Knox County, TN. He hopes you enjoy his wood turning art items as much as he has enjoyed creating them.
