EVENTS & FESTIVALS

The Appalachian Arts Craft Center’s Annual Auction and Dinner fundraiser is held in the spring each year. This is a fun event with excellent food, socializing, and an opportunity to purchase beautiful handmade crafts, fine arts, services, and other goodies. The date for the 2008 auction is Saturday, April 26.

We also hold a Porch Sale each spring usually around St. Patrick’s Day. At these sales, people can get a great deal on non-juried and student crafts, seconds, and more.

Each fall the Craft Center holds its Autumn Splendor Festival, usually the second weekend in October. The festival includes outdoor craft demonstrations, food, craft vendors and live music. The dates for the 2008 festival are October 10-12. If you would like to participate in the festival a vendor, you may sign up by filling out the correct form. Submit your completed application form and the fee by mail or in person at the Center. Additional details for participants are included on the application form. Our Holiday Open House is held the weekend after Thanksgiving. Stop by for some holiday goodies and wonderful gift shopping.
