Plan Your Visit

While we are thrilled that you’re visiting our website, we would love to meet and greet you in person! The Appalachian Arts Crafts Center is home to an extensive gift shop, where you will find fine handmade arts and crafts from regional artisans for sale year-round. The Center also houses our weaving and pottery studios and classrooms. Our expert instructors conduct arts and crafts classes for all ages and levels of ability and interest throughout the year.

Location and Directions

The Appalachian Arts Crafts Center is conveniently located just off I-75, a major interstate that connects northern and southern states, snow sports and more tropical pursuits, and plains and lakeshores with mountains and beaches.

If you are traveling north on I-75 (i.e. from Knoxville), take Exit 122, turn right onto Highway 61 and go east about a mile. We are located on the right, across from the Museum of Appalachia. We have a large parking lot with two entrances and plenty of room to turn around. Our facility is handicap accessible.
