I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tn., married to my husband Jim and we have two daughters and three grandchildren.
A former customer of a business I owned for 28 years introduced me to fused glass. This lead me to taking a 2 hour class in fusing and I was hooked! Color has been a big part of my life as my previous business was designing and making majorette and dance costumes. You cannot find any more color than working with glass. After selling my business two years ago, I have been able to devote more time to melting and experimenting with gloss. My goal is to learn something new about fusing every day. Talking to other glass artists has been my best source of education. I juried in here at the Appalachian Arts Craft Center in August of 2013 and have truly enjoyed being a small part of it.
