I have been fortunate enough to live in east TN since 1989, having relocated here from central FL. Although I always enjoyed spending time outside, the Appalachian Mountains have become very special to me since I moved here. I am continually amazed that with a camera in my hand I become so much more aware of the beauty & wonder of God’s creation.

I started taking photography “seriously” in 2005 when I realized I had a desire to share my love of nature with others. I have a special interest in wildflowers & those wonderful “point of view” nature perspectives that I find in surprising places.
