Forty or so years ago I apprenticed with a potter in a small craftsmen community in upstate New York. When my family started and a few moves around the country, being a potter and schoolteacher turned into schoolteacher and mom for 20+ years. Recently, I retired from teaching and found a good place to make pottery again.

East Tennessee. My work is influenced by the journey I’ve taken to get here and the simple beauty of the world.
