Maker Markets:
Appalachian Arts is excited to promote Maker Markets in 2024! The Maker Market events will be conducted at 2716 Andersonville Hwy, Clinton, TN 37716 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Saturdays, April 13, May 11, June 8, September 14, October 12, and November 30 (Small Business Saturday). Interested Makers can apply to participate in multiple dates. Please only apply if you are an artist/maker selling handmade products or artwork (painting, photography, candles, prints, stained glass, pottery, etc.). Original artwork only. Groups/artist collectives can apply with one application.
Booth Fee (non-refundable):
Members of Appalachian Arts $25 (includes 10’x10′ space, 6′ table, and two chairs (electricity is not available).*
Non-Members of Appalachian Arts $45 (includes 10’x10′ space, 6′ table, and two chairs (electricity is not available).*
*Booth fee is per selected date. Makers will only pay the booth fee for the dates (if any) accepted into the Maker Market.
This opportunity is designed to provide a supportive environment for makers to gain practical experience selling their artwork. Makers will be allotted a 10’x10′ space to display their work, a 6′ table, and 2 chairs. Any additional display structures must be provided by the artist (ie; tent) and must fit within the allotted space. Sufficient weights are required for vertical display stands and tents. For any accessibility needs regarding your space, please indicate in your application. Maker Markets are conducted rain or shine.

Artist Jury:
Are you an artist or a crafter? Consider going through the jury process to sell your craft at the Appalachian Arts Craft Center! Artists can apply for one craft per jury session. If artists have multiple crafts ie; ceramics and woodworking they must apply for either ceramics or painting per jury session. The jury process is conducted three times a year. To apply, artists must bring 3 samples of their best work for the category they are jurying for, the $40 nonrefundable application fee, and the completed entry forms by the close of business on January 31, May 29, and October 2.

Spring & Fall Porch Sale: March 8-March 24 & October 11-27
The Porch Sale is a great time to purchase handmade, one-of-a-kind arts and craft pieces, at a discount! The Porch Sale provides our local artisans the opportunity to replenish their artwork for the remainder for the upcoming year. Typically shoppers will find discounted Appalachian notecards, greeting cards, photography prints, ceramics, weaving, woodworking and more!
Plant & Garden Art Sale: May 11 – May 19
Celebrate Spring with us! The Plant & Garden Art Sale feature a variety of donated plants; perennials, annuals, and native varieties with proceeds directly benefiting the Appalachian Arts Craft Center. In addition to plants we also feature beautiful handmade garden art for sale; garden markers, garden décor, nature photography and more!
